Use of Post Nominals MASRC
The formal use of letters after a member’s name in professional correspondence, business cards and publications is approved for the following categories of membership:
- Full Member – MASRC
- Life Member – MASRC (Life Member)
- Fellow – FASRC
- Fellow as well as Life Member – FASRC (Life Member)
These are the only membership categories to which the use of post nominals applies.
Full members and Fellows must be in good financial standing with ASORC in order to continue to use ASORC post nominals.
Notification will be made to the members regarding their eligibility to use the relevant post nominals. Misuse of the privilege is a breach of the Society’s code of professional conduct and the ASORC Constitution and would be dealt with accordingly.
If members let their membership lapse or choose not to renew membership it is a legal requirement that all reference to ASORC membership must be removed from public use and display. This includes the deletion of post nominals from professional letterhead, business cards and curriculum vitae.
